Skin tightening with Thermage®

Skin tightening with Liquid Facelift

The properties of the latest generation of hyaluronic acid fillers permit these products to be used in deep layers of the face to restore lost volume, reduce wrinkles and rejuvenate the face. By using very small doses at key points of the face essential for tightening the skin, an extremely natural result can be obtained that also lasts considerably longer (around 2 years depending on the product).

Skin tightening with thread lifting

The increasing loss of tension in the elastic fibres of the skin can lead to advanced slackening of the skin in the face and neck. If filler treatments no longer have the desired lifting effect and you do not want a surgical facelift, a lifting effect can also be achieved by the introduction of different absorbable threads.

Skin tightening with PDO threads (aka "Korean thread lift")

The Korean Ultra V Thread Lift is a relatively new technique for tightening the skin. It has been developed in the last few years by Korean plastic surgeons. Various types of thread are used and introduced into the subcutaneous fat tissue by means of fine needles. This gives the area of the face or neck treated a tight, firm appearance and also improved skin tone by stimulating the production of collagen. The threads are made of PDO (polydioxanone), a material that is also used for surgical sutures and that gradually dissolves completely.

The technique is faster, less invasive and less expensive than a surgical facelift. Collagen stimulation and the lifting effect last for up to 2 years.

Skin tightening with lactic acid threads (Silhouette Soft®)

The threads used in Silhouette Soft_® Lifting are made from poly-L-lactic acid and are also completely absorbable. The threads are fixed in the tissue with small anchors (cones). Encapsulations form around these cones giving them better support in the tissue. This method is primarily suited to firming the line of the lower jaw and for mid-facial areas.

Skin tightening with facelift

A "surgical face tightening (facelift)" is effective in tightening the skin and the underlying connective tissue with lasting effect. Heavy wrinkles can be reduced and sunken fat tissue raised again. Facial features re-emerge and the overall appearance is fresher and younger. To reinforce this rejuvenation effect, we frequently combine a facelift with other methods, e.g. forehead and neck tightening as well as treatment to the area around the eyes – because the optimum solution lies in the variety of methods used.
